Just incase I don’t wake up again,
I want you to know that:
I was scared at first, scared that I’m
frightened of the light.
That I’m used to pain, not feeling
alright, and that I’m a lost star hiding
in the night.
Just incase, I want you to know that:
I was scared at first, scared that
happiness isn’t meant for me.
That everyone’s in the light except
for me, that I am my own family, and
the joke’s on me.
Just incase it ends for me, you should
know that I wished:
If only the truth wasn’t as bitter,
euphoric,
may I only die for the better.
